Adding a Note to a Discussion |
To add a note to a discussion first make sure you are in the discussion folder of BSCW.. Your professor will normally give you a link to take you rightr into the dicussion. Here is an example of an open discussion file:

In order to add your discussion or statement click on the blue arrow to the right of the top discussion top. In this case the topic is "Your Name and Proposal ". Choose the arrow on the right side of teh screen within the top blue box where you see Bucko . When you click on the blue arrow a menu will open. Choose New and then Note (for a new note).
When you select New Note you will se a data entry screen similar to the one below. Fill in all theboxes and be sure to click " OK" to enter the material in the database.
When you are finished adding your reply click the "OK" box to load the data into the computer. If you are the owner of the message you can always go back and edit your own comments. You will find the EDIT option right above the REPLY option on the drop down box.
