Creighton University BSCW Project Help Files: Entering the Workspace

The main entrance to the BSCW is located at this address:

http://bscw.creighton.edu/bscw/bscw.cgi

Your professor may have set up an entrance on her/her on-line syllabus for you. If this is the case your professor will instruct you on how to enter the workspace from the syllabus.

A dialouge box will appear which will look something like this (depending on the browser you are using):

Point to the top cell with your mouse and click your right mouse button. Fill in your user name. Your user name is case senstive so if your user name is Esteban the system will not recognize you if you type esteban or ESTEBAN. Hit your tab key or click with your left mouse button on the next cell and fill in your password. The system will echo a series of ******* characters to prevent anyone from seeing your password.

After you have filled in the two cells use your mouse to left click on . If you have filled in the cells with your correct user name and password (both of which are case sensitive-- lower case is not the same as UPPER CASE) you will be admitted to the workspace.
