Daily Event Notification

BSCW will send you an e-mail every 24 hours to inform you of all the activity that has taken place in the virtual classroom during that time period.

To configure the daily update use the drop down menu at the top of the BSCW interface (blue bar). Choose "Options" and when the menu bar drops down choose "Default Event Filter " as seen below:



When you choose the "Options -- Default Events" menu item you will see a blue dialogue screen that looks like this:



You can check any box you wish (the more you check the more information BSCW will send you). Most inportant for the class are:

Event Icons (these are the icons you see inside the BSCW itsellf).

Daily Report (clicking the top box enables daily e-mail reports of workspace activity). To keep track of classroom activiity please check the Event Service, Read Events, Create Events and Change Events (as indicated above).

Direct Email (clicking on the tob box enables instant reporting of any of the events below). It is not necessary to keep that up to date but you can click the boxes if you enjoy a lot of e-mail.

After you have filled in both boxes click the "OK" button.
