Changing Your Password |
You are issued a password when you are first subscribed to the BSCW. It is important to change this password with one of your own. If you think someone has access to your account it is also a important to change passwords. Be sure to write down your password and store it in a secure place. Remember that the password, like your user name, is case SENSITIVE!.
To change your password use the drop down menu at the top of the BSCW interface (blue bar). Choose "options" and when the menu bar drops down choose "change password" as seen below:
When you choose the "change password" menu item you will see a blue dialogue screen that looks like this:
Type in the password you were given in class (or your old password if you are changing your password again) remembering that the password, like your user name, is case sensitive. When you have typed in your old password type in a new password of your choosing. Again, be sure to save the password somewhere in case you forget!
After you have filled in both boxes click the "OK" button. They system will then change your password and present you with a dialogue box so you can log on again.
